On Tuesday, March 18, former Pickett Co. High School standout Zach Amonett’s current collegiate team the Alabama Huntsville Chargers lost 76-69 against the Nova Southeastern Sharks in the NCAA Division II Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Rick Case Arena, this was the first game against the Nova Southeastern Sharks during the championship.

Zach Amonett’s hometown is Byrdstown and game position is guard.
