Of the 78,955 citizens living in Putnam County in 2021, 78.9% were old enough to vote, equating to 62,291 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 30,897 were male, constituting 49.6%, and 31,394 were female, making up 50.4%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Putnam County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.6%.
