The Tennessee Tech men's basketball team hits the road for its furthest treks of Ohio Valley Conference play, starting with a Thursday-night affair at Little Rock. Tip is set for 7:30 p.m. CT at Jack Stephens Center in Little Rock, Ark.

Little Rock comes into the contest on a five-game skid in league play after winning its first-ever OVC tilt over UT Martin back on Dec. 29, 88-74. Since then, the Trojans have fallen at Tennessee State, to Lindenwood, to Southeast Missouri, at Southern Indiana, and most recently, at Eastern Illinois.
The Panthers edged Little Rock on Saturday, 70-63, just two days after the Trojans dropped a 74-67 decision at Southern Indiana. Little Rock guard Myron Gardner enters the contest ranked fifth in the nation and first in the OVC with 10 double-doubles.
This marks the first-ever meeting between the Golden Eagles and Trojans.
The Golden Eagles enter Thursday's action on a league-best four-game winning streak, the first time Tech has won four-straight OVC match-ups since the 2015-16 campaign. It also marks TTU's first four-game winning streak of any kind since 2017-18.
Tech took down in-state rival Tennessee State on Saturday, 71-63, turning in a second-half run of 22-5 for its second comeback victory in as many tilts. The purple and gold rallied from a first-half deficit against Morehead State last Thursday, coming out on top, 79-62.
Graduate guard Ty Perry paced a group effort for the purple and gold that saw four players in double figures, producing a team-high 15 points on 5-for-10 shooting. He added four rebounds and team-highs of three assists and three steals to the mix.
Junior guard Jayvis Harvey racked up 14 points and four boards while Jaylen Sebree accounted for 11 points and a team-high six rebounds. Rounding out the double-figure scoring for the Golden Eagles was junior guard Brett Thompson, chipping in 10 points, four rebounds, and three dimes off the bench.
Following Thursday's match-up, Tech will head to Cape Girardeau, Mo. for a Saturday showdown at Southeast Missouri at 4:00 p.m. on Jan. 21.
