Tennessee Tech University baseball to host First Pitch Banquet, 100th Anniversary Celebration Jan. 28 | Tennessee Tech University (tntech.edu)
The Tennessee Tech baseball team will host a First Pitch Banquet and kick start its 100th Anniversary Celebration of the Golden Eagle program at the Salt Box Inn in Cookeville on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023. Tickets are available for purchase by the public and all Golden Eagle baseball alumni.
Tickets are $100 for a single ticket, $150 for two tickets, $75 each for three or more, and $50 for children 12 and under. Adult tickets include a 100th Anniversary commemorative coin. Tickets can be purchased by calling the TTU Ticket Office at 931-372-3940 or Kristie Phillips at 931-372-6857. Checks may be made payable to TTU Athletics. You can also pay at the venue the night of the event. Reservations are required for the event.
Each of Tech baseball's 12 Ohio Valley Conference Championship Teams, regular season and tournament (1949, 1955, 1956, 1970, 1988, 1997, 2001, 2009, 2010, 2013, 2017, and 2018), will be recognized, with special attention for the 1988, 2013, and 2018 squads celebrating their 35th, 10th, and fifth anniversaries, respectively. Also being recognized during the contest are the members of the All-Century Team, which will be released publicly on TTUSports.com and social media in the coming days.
In hopes that Tech baseball alumni will make a day of it with their families/guests, complimentary tickets will be available to those alumni and their guests attending the banquet for the women's and men's doubleheader basketball games against Little Rock at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. All Golden Eagle baseball alumni will be recognized during the games as well.
