It was a privilege to celebrate the grand opening of the Ruth & Steve West Workforce Development Center at the Pellissippi State Community College Blount County Campus. This incredible center was made possible by hard work and partnerships.
The $16.5 million workforce development center was designed to prepare Blount County students for high-demand high-skilled careers such as culinary arts, welding, hospitality management, electrical engineering, and more. The center will also provide adult education programs, and high school certificate pathways, and serve as home to the Blount County robotics team.
The Ruth & Steve West Workforce Development Center is just one more reason why Blount County is the best place to live, work, and play.
