TCAT Coffee County Instructional Service Center is operated through the Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) McMinnville. Formerly located in a building owned by VIAM, the new facility shares space with the Department of Human Service (DHS) and is located at 91 Industrial Parkway. This new TCAT location is a partnership with DHS and Coffee County and may serve as a model for other similar partnerships throughout the state.
The new campus has 12,600 square feet. This provides space for the current Industrial Maintenance program and enables future expansion into other program areas.
“The Manchester area deserves access to the programs offered at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology in their local community,” said Dr. Melody Edmonds, TCAT McMinnville’s President. “We are very pleased to support the workforce needs and aid students with high-demand, high-paying careers.”
The Coffee County Commission recently finalized a resolution to set aside 11 acres in the Coffee County Joint Industrial Park for a permanent campus in the future.
