The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Cookeville conferred 402 bachelor's degrees and 43 master's degrees in engineering programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Data shows the school gave out 179 bachelor's degrees in mechanical engineering, followed by 166 bachelor's degrees in teacher education, multiple levels and 157 bachelor's degrees in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies.
The university enrolled 10,186 students for 2017-18, including 9,006 in undergraduate programs and 1,180 in graduate programs.
